Por\u00e9m os beb\u00eas que tem fatores de risco para anemia ferropriva mant\u00e9m se a suplementa\u00e7\u00e3o iniciando aos 3 meses.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>S\u00e3o considerados os fatores de risco de anemia ferropriva para crian\u00e7as e adolescentes:<br>1. Baixa reserva materna (a import\u00e2ncia da alimenta\u00e7\u00e3o da m\u00e3e na gesta\u00e7\u00e3o e a suplementa\u00e7\u00e3o)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul><li>Gesta\u00e7\u00f5es m\u00faltiplas com pouco intervalo entre elas<\/li><li>Dieta materna deficiente em ferro<\/li><li>Perdas sangu\u00edneas<\/li><li>N\u00e3o suplementa\u00e7\u00e3o de ferro na gravidez e lacta\u00e7\u00e3o<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>2. Aumento da demanda metab\u00f3lica:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul><li>Prematuridade e baixo peso ao nascer (&lt; 2.500g)<\/li><li>Lactentes em crescimento r\u00e1pido (velocida- de de crescimento > p90)<\/li><li>Meninas com grandes perdas menstruais<\/li><li>Atletas de competi\u00e7\u00e3o<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>3.
